About
Jon Hannah-Spacagna
Throughout Jon’s career, he has consistently embodied that mantra by fostering connections at every juncture of his professional journey.
From working over 25 years in the corporate law department for a Fortune 30 company to creating a successful insurance agency and then working as the Director of Government Affairs for an international trade association for the modular construction industry, Jon has formed relationships with regulatory officials, state and federal legislators and their staff, leaders of state and federal government agencies, as well as executives from every facet of the modular construction industry.
Over the past 7 years, he has coordinated over $10 billion in new funding streams for the modular industry throughout North America. This includes creating new government grant programs, implementing affordable housing initiatives, and coordinating COVID-19 response efforts and disaster relief housing. He has been involved in writing and passing new city and state legislation, developing modular-friendly Requests for Proposals for government agencies, and creating and publishing new modular building codes. Jon’s unique background in government affairs, insurance, and disaster relief, as well as his expertise in building codes and their application to modular construction, have all contributed to his success. However, it’s the relationships, trust, and collaboration with his contacts that have truly made the difference.
Looking ahead, Jon envisions continued growth in the modular construction industry. By establishing JHS Modular Consulting, he will continue to collaborate with his clients and government officials to develop effective business strategies that incorporate modular construction into their planning and procurement processes.
